353: Hurray!

Behlül geldi, heyy!

Vocabulary:

geldi [= he came; he has come; he is here]
past simple from gelmek [= to come; to arrive]

Tip:
Note that in Turkish, there is no present perfect tense [has/have + past participle]. The English present perfect tense is expressed in Turkish using the past simple. 

yaşasın! [= hurray! yippee! yes!]

-ciğim [=or “-cığım”, “-cuğum”, “-cüğüm”]: This is a diminutive suffix attached to names to express an endearment of the addressee and means “my dear”. It is a way to express affection for someone]. Following are some examples:
Ahmetçiğim [= my dear Ahmet]
Anneciğim [= my dear mother]
Babacığım [= my dear father]
Karıcığım [= my dear wife]
Ablacığım [= my dear elder sister]
Teyzeceğim [= my dear auntie]

lütfen [= please]

sakin! (or: sakin ol!) [= calm down; stay calm; go easy]
