335: Where have you been?

Subtitles:

Ah sonunda Can ya! Neredesin merak ettim?
= Ah finally Can! Where have you been, I was worried?

Vocabulary:

sonunda [finally; at last]

ya! [interjection= used to express frustration, anger or surprise etc.]

neredesin? [=where have you been?; where are you?]

merak ettim [=I was worried].
(past simple) from merak etmek= to worry].

Tip:
This verb is basically made of the noun [merak= worry; wonder; curiosity] + the verb [etmek= to do; to make], so when combined together the literal meaning would be “to make worry or wonder”.“Merak etmek” can also mean [=to wonder; to be curious].

Video is from the Turkish Series "İlişki Durumu: Karışık"
English Title: "Relationship Status: It's Complicated"
