217: Stay a little while longer

Gitmesen. Biraz daha kalsan burda.
= Don't go. Stay a little while longer here.

*gitmesen [from gitmek= to go]
*kalsan [from kalmak= to stay]

Language Tip:
"Gitme" is the imperative form and means "don't go". "Gitmesen" has the same meaning, but it implies a suggestion or a wish "I wish you wouldn't go".

"Kal" and "Kalsan" operate in the same way: [Kal= stay] while [Kalsan= why don't you stay; I wish you would stay].

Video is from the Turkish Series "Kiralık Aşk
English Title: "Love for Rent"
